Packages and add-ons

Set up the packages and extras you sell, with bundled add-ons, seasonal availability, monthly prices and limits by staff or event type.

In Packages, equipment and venuesUpdated

Packages are what you sell, such as “Wedding Gold” or “Party Essentials”. Add-ons are the extras on top, such as uplighting, a photobooth or a late finish.

Creating a package

  1. Go to Packages & Addons > Packages and click New package.
  2. Enter the name, category, price and a description customers will read.
  3. Choose any Add-ons that come included. Included add-ons aren’t offered again as extras on a booking with this package.
  4. Make sure it is active, then save.

Add-ons work the same way in Packages & Addons > Add-ons. Group both into categories in their own Categories pages.

Limiting when a package is offered

  • Available to all employees: switch off to choose which DJs can be booked with it, for example a package only your senior DJ delivers.
  • Available to all event types: switch off to offer it only for certain event types, such as weddings.
  • Available all year: switch off and tick the Available months for seasonal packages, such as a Christmas party package.

Seasonal prices

Turn on Price varies by month and add Month overrides to charge more in peak season. A booking is priced for the month of its event date.

On a booking

Pick a package and add-ons in the event’s Financial section and the costs fill in. Prices are locked in when the booking is made, so changing your prices later doesn’t change existing bookings. See Creating a booking.

On your website

Show your packages and add-ons on your own site with the Packages & Add-ons widget, with an Enquire button on each. See Adding forms and widgets to your website. Your enquiry form can also have package and add-on fields with an instant quote.

Not selling packages?

If you price every booking individually, switch off Enable packages & add-ons in Settings > Events > Packages & Add-ons. The menu and the package fields on bookings disappear.

Employees never see packages, add-ons or prices.
