Using the calendar

See bookings, enquiries, staff time off, reminders and to-dos in one place, by month, week, day or year, and add new items by clicking a date.

In Bookings and calendarUpdated

The Calendar shows everything with a date on it, colour coded so you can tell at a glance what’s booked and what’s still an enquiry.

What’s on it

  • Bookings: events awaiting a contract or deposit, confirmed or completed.
  • Leads: events that are still Unattended or Enquiry.
  • Time off: staff time off. See Staff time off.
  • Reminders: notes to yourself for a date and time.
  • To-dos: jobs with a due date.

Cancelled, rejected and failed events don’t appear.

Views

Switch between Month, Week, Day, List and Year. Day (Gantt) shows one day with a row for each member of staff, which is the quickest way to see who is free.

Use the arrows to move back and forward, and Today to come back. Filter by Event types to show only weddings, for example.

Adding something

Click a date, or drag across several, and choose what to add: a booking, time off, a reminder or a to-do. You can also use the Request time off, Add reminder and Add to-do buttons at the top.

Click anything on the calendar to see its details, with a View event button for bookings.

Employees

Staff with the employee role see the events they are working on, and can request their own time off.
