Most of what shapes your bookings is in Settings > Events.
Event types
Event types are the kinds of event you do, such as Wedding, Birthday Party or Corporate Event. You start with a full list. Open the Event Types tab at the top of Settings > Events to:
- add, rename or delete types
- switch on the timeline for a type. See The event timeline.
- choose the type’s brochure, attached to quotes. See Sending a quote.
Each event type can also have a planning form. You choose the event types on the form itself. See Planning forms for each event type.

The settings on this page
- Event Page Layout: the order of the sections on the event form. Drag the ones you use most to the top.
- Balance Due: how many days before the event the balance is due, and when it shows as due soon.
- Quotes: how long quotes are valid, and whether to withdraw other quotes when a date is confirmed.
- Playlist Defaults: guest requests on or off for new events, the default song limit, and when requests close.
- Travel Settings: your rate for working out travel costs. See Working out travel costs.
- Event Timeline: switch timelines on and write the intro customers see.
- Packages & Add-ons: switch packages off if you don’t sell them, and choose whether existing bookings are re-priced when you edit them.
