What employees can and can’t see

Employees see the events they work on and what they need to deliver them, never your finances, settings or other people's bookings.

In Your teamUpdated

Staff with the employee role get a cut-down admin area, built around the events they are working on.

What employees can do

  • Dashboard: their upcoming events and their open action items.
  • Calendar: the events they work on, and their own time off, which they can request.
  • Events: only events where they are the lead DJ or extra staff. They can view and update them, but not create or delete events.
  • Customers: view only, and only customers of the events they work on.
  • Venues: view, add and edit venues, but not delete or blacklist them.
  • Meeting notes: take notes on their events, using your templates.
  • Planning, playlists and timelines on their events.

What employees never see

  • Prices, costs, payments, deposits and balances
  • Wages, including their own, and remittances
  • Contracts and contract templates
  • Leads
  • Invoices, transactions and reports
  • Packages, add-ons and equipment
  • Communications, email templates, forms and automations
  • Settings and the Employees page

On their events, the Financial and Contract sections and the Transactions tab are hidden. The printed event details leave out the money and contract.

Notifications

Employees are only notified about events they are assigned to. Automations that notify staff about leads only ever reach admins.
