Your emails, invoices, contracts and event details PDFs all share one style, so everything you send looks like it comes from you.
Opening the style editor
Go to Settings > Styles and click Manage email / PDF styles. You start with a theme already made from your logo and colours. Edit it, or create more and choose which to Use this theme by default.
What you can change
- Logo and colours: a logo override if you want a different logo on documents, its width, your brand and secondary colours, and the background, text and muted text colours.
- Layout: the header style, the body and heading fonts, the content width and how rounded the corners are. Fonts come from a fixed list that works in both emails and PDFs.
- Footer: your own footer, or leave it blank to show your company name, address and contact details automatically.
The preview updates as you change things. From an email template, send a test email to check how it looks in your own inbox, especially in Outlook.
Your address on documents
If you work from home, you may not want your address on everything you send. Switch off Show my address on documents I send in Settings > Business. It applies to every customer-facing email and PDF, invoices included.
VAT registered? VAT invoices normally have to show a business address. If you hide your home address, consider adding a business address instead.
Email templates
The style is the wrapper. What goes inside each email is set in its template. See Email templates and content tags.
Logos on dark backgrounds
Upload a second logo for dark backgrounds in Settings > Styles, and it is used wherever your logo sits on a dark colour. If you only have one logo, a contrasting backing is added where it’s needed so it stays readable.
