Venues is your directory of the places you play. Each venue is a card with its cover photo, how often you have played there and anything worth knowing.
Adding a venue
- Go to Venues and click to add a venue.
- Enter the name, address, contact name, phone, email and any notes.
- Answer the venue’s features, such as its music curfew, sound limiter and parking. See Venue checklists, favourites and the blacklist.
- Add photos: drop several at once, up to 30 per venue. The first becomes the cover.
- Save.
An “Example Venue” is set up for you to show how it looks. Edit it or delete it.
The venue page
Click a card to open the venue. You see:
- its cover photo, contact details, a map link and notes
- visits: how many past events have been there and when you last played, plus how many are coming up
- its features, with anything worth watching out for first
- its photos and its events
To change the photo order, click Reorder photos and drag. Choose a different cover from the photos list.
Finding venues
Sort by name, visits or last visit, and filter by town, by My favourites, by Blacklisted, or by venues that answered Yes to a feature, such as “Lift on site”.
Favourites
Click the star on a venue to make it a favourite. Favourites are personal: each member of staff has their own.
Using a venue on a booking
Choose a saved venue in an event or lead and a summary appears with its photo and anything flagged. For a one-off venue, type the details on the event instead.
Who can do what
Employees can add and edit venues, but only admins can delete or blacklist them. A venue that has events or leads can’t be deleted.
